Why did you join Valeo?
1992 was the year of my change, I worked for a small company in the shoe manufacturing segment and was looking for new challenges, then I realized that I needed to change. One day I saw a multinational metallurgical company's recruiting advert and, carrying the same energy of those who accept challenges, face new responsibilities and new opportunities, I took part in the selection process with 320 applicants. Eleven people remained, including myself.

Do you have the feeling to work in a diverse environment and why? And what are the characteristics of diversity at work for you?
Yes, because the Involvement of Personnel is part of the company's culture: teamwork leads us to this constant exercise of respecting others.
It is important that business leaders understand diversity as a positive aspect for business development, since multiple teams represent multiple suggestions and ideas, because every individual has a different perception which is directly influenced by individual characteristics.

What are the characteristics of the Valeo operational culture and Values for you?
The customer's satisfaction, through advanced technologies, competitive costs, and delivery time, which is the best way to keep and master growth.

What would you say about training at Valeo?
Valeo is a great example of a company that cares for the necessary competences on each position.
Valeo provides several trainings, both internal and external ones, through the training guidelines and the annual appraisal carried out by the manager, which indicates what are the training actions to develop skills.

Why are you proud to be a Valeowoman?
It is very good to work in a place where all the people struggle for their goals and are friends.
The roots of our professional competence lie deep inside our company. When people are proud of the company they work for, they become more confident in their capacities.
